A 64-year-old woman and her husband, who is 37 years younger, prove that true love exists.

Cheryl McGregor and Quran McCain’s love story began with a chance encounter in a store.


Their relationship started as a friendship and blossomed into a marriage that has endured for over three years.

Yet, their bond has sparked fierce criticism, leaving McGregor estranged from most of her children.

At 64, Cheryl McGregor is no stranger to controversy. The TikTok star, a mother of seven and grandmother to 18, made headlines when she married Quran McCain after a brief courtship.

Their 37-year age-gap romance, which blossomed over shared creativity and mutual support, has stood the test of time with three years of marriage.

However, their unconventional love story has come at a cost for McGregor.

Six of her children oppose the relationship, accusing the couple of seeking attention and questioning its authenticity.

McGregor, unfazed by the criticism, remains steadfast in her belief that happiness should come first, even if it means losing family along the way.

Thomas Pierrepoint (1870 - 1954) hangman. Thomas William Pierrepoint was born in Sutton Bonnington, Nottinghamshire in 1870 and by 1891 the family was living at Clayton, near Bradford in Yorkshire where Thomas and his father were employed in a stone quarry. Thomas worked as a hangman for 40 years before being removed from the official list in 1946 due to his age, as he was by then 76 years old. He assisted at 35 executions and carried out 203 civilian hangings in England and Wales and five in Scotland during his period on Home Office List from 1906 to 1946. His brother Henry persuaded him to become a hangman and trained him in the job.  Thomas had no difficulty passing his official training at Pentonville and was added to the official list in 1906.
